Controllers with Kyle Schroeder

Hello everyone. This is my first attempt at a video blog. I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you some of my audio electronics and give you a basic overview on how they are controlled. Feedback is always welcome, and in this case it will determine if I produce any more video blogs. Comment if you want me to make any video tutorials or something similar. Thank you!

...My mistake in "Player Piano" was my failure as a futurist. I did not foresee transistors, and so imagined that super computers would have to be huge, with bulky vacuum tubes taking up a lot of space. -Kurt Vonnegut in "Letters"

  1. Kyle,

I loved to get to see all these different analog synthesizers and hear about the ways the synthesis process can differ between them. I would really like to see that theremin in action! More so than that, I would like to see a tutorial on the Kaoss Pad. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Jared,

Thank you for the feedback. I would love to give a tutorial/ demo on the Kaoss Pad if that interests you. If I get anymore requests, I think I will start adding a video per week either demoing a piece of gear, or using a piece of gear to explain a concept. The theremin on the other hand does not work; maybe I can use it as a demonstration for how to diagnose broken electronics. Thank you for watching.
